The hotel at a glance

The Alhambra Hotel is a relatively simple, family-run complex with 30 rooms, located in the village of El Beirat on the west bank of the Nile. The numerous sights of West Thebes are only a few minutes away, while the center of Luxor on the east bank can be reached in about ten minutes by water taxi. Shopping facilities are available in various mini-markets in the village, where there is also an ATM.

The hotel is located just 500 meters from the banks of the Nile. It is built in a horseshoe shape with a large inner courtyard. The rooms are spread over several buildings and are located on two floors. The inner courtyard is charmingly decorated with numerous plants and a small fountain. It is a very pleasant place to sit outside and order drinks and food from the in-house restaurant. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner (including local beer and, on request, local wine). You can also relax on the furnished roof terrace with a wonderful panoramic view. Wifi is available free of charge throughout the complex.

The rooms

All rooms at the Alhambra Hotel are air-conditioned and feature a refrigerator, satellite TV, a small balcony overlooking the courtyard, and a private bathroom with shower/WC. The double rooms are approximately 18 m² in size and equipped with a double bed or twin single beds. Eight triple rooms are suitable for families.
