The hotel at a glance

The Malikia Resort Abu Dabbab is located approximately 30 kilometers north of Marsa Alam, directly on Abu Dabbab Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the area. The resort resembles a nature park, as it is home to rare aquatic animals such as large turtles and a resident manatee. In addition, sheltered bays and a beautiful fringing reef make the resort a true paradise for divers and snorkelers.

The resort offers a wide range of restaurants and bars. Whether it's a cocktail at the pool bar, a burger at the beach restaurant, or one of the delicious dinners at the main restaurant overlooking the well-tended garden and the beautiful blue sea, every guest is guaranteed a culinary experience. The main restaurant also offers regular theme nights and BBQs on the terrace. Each guest also has the opportunity to enjoy a BBQ at the beach restaurant once per stay free of charge (upon registration).

For real water lovers, Malikia Resort also offers a large pool area with seven water slides (three for adults and four for children). While parents enjoy a relaxing time in the pool area, children can let off steam in the supervised children's pool. On the beach, children can enjoy a playground and daily children's entertainment.

The rooms

The Malikia Resort has a total of 358 rooms, which are quite spacious. The standard rooms are 30 m² and the family rooms are 40 m² and offer pool or garden views. There are also rooms with sea views and rooms with unrestricted sea views in the front row. The junior suites (60 m²) and deluxe family rooms (65 m²) offer even more space. All rooms are air-conditioned and have a balcony or terrace, a private bathroom with shower/WC and hairdryer, minibar (for a fee), satellite TV, and a room safe.

Extra services that can be booked

1. Solar eclipse mini liveaboard with one night on board a diving yacht*, incl. transfers to and from the boat, 4 dives or snorkeling, tanks, weights and guide, meals on board: full board, water, tea and coffee. Price per person: from € 599.

*On the day of the solar eclipse, the ship anchors along the central line of totality southeast of Berenice, where you can take a dive during the twilight phase or the total phase of the eclipse. Accommodation on board the boat is in simple cabins or on the sun deck under the sky (sleeping bag not included).

The minimum number of participants for the mini liveaboard is 6.

2. Solar eclipse in our "Eclipse Red Sea Camp" at the center line of totality, not far from Berenice, where the duration of the total phase is 6 minutes & 20 seconds. Including transfer to the camp & back, soft drinks, juices, selected alcoholic drinks, water, coffee, tea, and finger food. Price per person: from € 200.

3. Solar eclipse in our "Eclipse Desert Camp" directly at the spot of the maximum of the eclipse, about 60 kilometers southeast of Luxor, in the middle of the desert. The duration of totality there is 6 minutes & 23 seconds, the longest total phase of the solar eclipse on August 2nd, 2027. Including transfer to the camp & back (partly with four-wheel drive vehicles), soft drinks, juices, selected alcoholic drinks, water, coffee, tea, and finger food. Price per person: from € 2.500,-.
